How I Approached The Project

All flows, wireframes, Figma file, design system, and prototypes have been designed manually.

Each product feature, branding, and design decision has been taken only when I was able to successfully convince Claude (whom I had prompted to act as an expert PM, instructed to be very harsh on the product).

The decisions where I couldn’t rationalise were taken after trying and testing the available alternativesI deliberately chose a small and simple problem since it is my first project and I wanted to improve my product thinking and UX designing skills.

Chapter 1: The Why Before The How

</aside>

Why Did I Build This Project?

This is my first UX design project, which got me started to get hands-on experience on UX design, Design Thinking, and think like a Product Manager. I got to learn and use relevant tools to build this project. Such tools are:

1. Figma

I applied the following concepts learnt in UX Design and Figma

2. AI LLMs (Claude, Gemini)

I consciously used AI only as an expert critic and mentor for pressure testing my ideas and progress. Since this is a personal project, I wanted to keep myself accountable and force myself to think everything rationally and not jump directly to next steps.

  1. Claude Code

I used Claude Code to build the code by understanding the basics of Vibe Coding. Since I had already designed the components, wireframes, screens, and Design System on Figma, it became very easy for Claude Code to carry on from where I left. It had enough context to build what I envisioned.

However, it took a lot of iterations and feedback to get to the final result. Never at any point did I use the AI output as the finished product, rather, I used it as a baseline to build on top of it.
